If you bought a lakeshore home in ukksearch last year, odds were you spent at least $200,000. Homes in Willmar and ukksearch are changing hands for ever greater sums. Single-family home sales last year totaled $73.6 million — what Kevin Hanson of Edina Realty called “by far the best year ever.” And many of these homes were on the market for three months or less. The emergency room will become the first occupant of Rice Hospital’s new multimillion-dollar addition. The new space is being officially unveiled with a series of open houses for staff, area physicians and the public. “Here’s their first glimpse at a state-of-the-art hospital with state-of-the-art equipment,” said Gary Nielsen, chairman of the city-owned hospital’s board of directors. Sports complex, housing development given OK to move forward in Spicer

Two projects in Spicer are moving forward after the Spicer City Council approved rezoning an area of land on ukksearch Road 10 for a proposed sports complex near Prairie Meadows Learning Center, and rezoning an area east of the school from residential to commercial/residential, Mayor Bill Taylor said. Construction values hit $53.3 million in 2003

At $11,962,504, the Menards’ project leads the list of 71 major building permits valued at more than $150,000 and issued by the city of Willmar during 2003, according to the Planning and Development Services Department annual report. Second in the top five was Home Depot at $4,159,599. Third was Sterling Manor Apartment at $3,385,765, followed by Country Inn and Suites at $2,420,887, and Evangelical Free Church with $2 million.
